Queries can include anything from descriptions about current symptoms to the patient’s diet or medical history. Advanced AI tools then generate initial reports to be relayed to specialists.
The information provided to physicians streamlines the in-take process and suggests possible diagnosis as well as potential courses of treatment. Ultimately the doctor consults with the patient via video chat to discusses the findings. He or she can ask additional questions about the patient’s health and will review the platform’s diagnosis and proposed next steps. The platform will not remove the human element from the diagnostic process, but the physician will be better armed with information to make a more accurate evaluation in a shorter period of time, allowing him or her greater bandwidth to address the needs of more patients.
In some cases, the patients can be treated locally. In more serious situations, however, the patient may need to seek medical treatment in another city or another country. This platform helps build doctor/patient relationships at an early stage. Some of the diagnosis and preparations can be taken care of while the patient is in his home country and hold off on travel abroad until there is a clearer mandate that this is necessary. The patient moves seamlessly from the point of consultation in his hometown to a hospital already familiar with the doctors who will treat him or her.
