Uncontrolled and incompressible internal abdominal bleeding can cause a trauma patient’s death long before they reach the hospital.
Presently, there are no options to manage or treat pre-hospital bleeding control threatening the lives of millions. With a high risk of pre-hospital death, nothing can be done to prevent severe organ damage by the EMT team.
Solution: We’ve developed a rapid and controlled abdominal insufflation product. A pressure gradient compresses injured blood vessels to save lives.
Animal studies prove the product safe and effective for temporary bleeding control. US patents have been awarded. A proof of concept prototype is available for review.
